- A leading communications system integrator for the US Government,
with close ties to the intelligence community,
recognized an emerging market opportunity for a new type of
highly secure data network that would be useful to
certain Federal agencies. The Blue Mill Group worked with
the integrator's business development organization to
define the product and associated services offer,
evaluate relevant technology that was available
within the integrator's parent corporation,
create a complete development and staffing plan for
a combined in-house and external R&D program,
evaluate competitors' products, and prepare proposals
and presentations to secure R&D funding.
- A well-known investor with substantial expertise in telecommunications
developed an innovative new concept for improving
delivery of wireless services and applications.
The investor and the Blue Mill Group
jointly expanded and refined the idea,
filed multiple patent disclosures,
created a detailed technical architecture,
and developed presentations for
potential customers, partners and co-investors.
- A regional venture capital firm receives a large number
of investment proposals from its broad contacts in the industry.
The Blue Mill Group assists the firm
